After focus groups declared “authenticity” one of Maryland’s key tourism attractions, Trahan, Burden & Charles creative director Allan Charles decided he would deliver exactly that.

“Antietam,” a 60-second spot that kicks off the Baltimore’s shop’s second tourism effort, features hundreds of reenactors in full Civil War regalia, charging to the roar of cannon and musket down Bloody Lane and across Burnside Bridge.

“By and large, state tourism is all montage, lakes and mountains, and rivers and beaches,” said Charles.
