Dye, Van Mol & Lawrence has named Jeff Cox president and chief operating officer, both new positions.
The appointment comes as the Nashville, Tenn., agency seeks to strengthen its evolution from a public relations shop to a full-service, integrated marketing company.
Cox, 41, was previously president of The Anderson Communications Group in Charlotte, N.C., where he resigned last August. A 20-year advertising veteran, Cox will manage daily operations at the $12 million firm, with emphasis on developing its strategic planning and relationship marketing disciplines.
“Jeff brings a fresh perspective to Dye, Van Mol, one that’s a lot broader than the traditional public relations emphasis,” said Hank Dye, chairman and chief executive officer.
