Comedian Lily Tomlin will join former Fidelity Investments fund manager Peter Lynch for ads that the mutual-fund giant hopes will “personalize” its image in two separate campaigns breaking this fall.
A Fidelity representative last week confirmed that Tomlin had been signed by the Boston client, but would not discuss details.
Comedian Don Rickles has also been cast for future spots, sources said. Executives at Fidelity agency Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos in Boston declined comment.
The two comedians will appear separately from Lynch, the successful fund manager and author.
