True North Communications’ board of directors will decide whether Richard Braddock’s involvement in an electronic commerce company in Stamford, Conn., prevents him from continuing as the nonexecutive chairman of its board of directors.
It was announced last week that Braddock has taken on the positions of chairman and chief executive officer for Priceline.com. Through its Internet site, Priceline.com receives inquiries from customers seeking goods or services, such as airline tickets or cars, at a certain price, and then seeks sellers that will meet the bids.
