A recent mailer sent out by Dallas advertising and design firm GibbsBaronet may not win any awards for timeliness, but it’s almost certain to cut through the clutter.
About 350 friends and clients of the shop recently found a card in their mailbox with an unusual message.
“We resolve to come up with a holiday card sooner in 1998,” the missive reads. “Happy New Year from your friends at GibbsBaronet.”
The greeting, created as a scroll by GibbsBaronet designer Jonathan Ingram, was signed by all of the shop’s staffers and shipped in a tube.
“Our clients kept us so busy this last holiday season,” said company principal Willie Baronet.
