Atlanta Incumbent Betters Clarion’s Challenge for State Business
ATLANTA – J. Walter Thompson here successfully defended the Georgia Department of Industry, Trade and Tourism’s advertising account against Clarion Marketing and Communications of Atlanta, the state’s Department of Administrative Services said last week.
According to a statement released by Michael McClearn, the DAS representative handling the process, J. Walter Thompson “had the highest technical score and the lowest blended hourly rate.”
The contract terms duplicate the original agreement, which was first awarded to the agency in 1994.
