Chicago-based TFA/Leo Burnett Technology Group has opened a new Southwest regional headquarters in Austin, Texas, to take advantage of that city’s growing technology market.
Scott Murray, client services director at TFA’s Chicago headquarters, was named president of the Austin office.
The 12-person outpost starts out with only two clients–Motorola’s semiconductor division and modem manufacturer Efficient Networks–but Murray said he expects the office to grow to a $35-40 million agency by the end of the year, with 22-30 employees.
