Black-Eyed Pea Res-taurants moves away from its longtime family-dining image in advertising breaking this month from new agency Levenson & Hill.

The change in agency and branding was prompted by a sweeping management reorganization last fall at the chain’s parent company, Phoenix Restaurant Group (PRG).

“One of the things we did quickly was put the stake in the ground that this is a casual restaurant rather than a family restaurant,” said Robert Langford, PRG’s chairman and chief executive officer.
