Tennessee Lottery Selects 3 Finalists

ATLANTA Three of seven semifinalists have advanced following oral presentations before committee members at the Tennessee Education Lottery Corp. in the review for the $18 million Tennessee Lottery account, sources said.

Advancing in the fast-moving review are Strategic Marketing Alliance, a partnership consisting of Mercatus Communications and Webster & Associates, both in Nashville, Tenn., and O'Neil Griffin Bodi in Manchester, N.H.; Archer Malmo Tombras, a partnership between Memphis, Tenn., independent archer>malmo and The Tombras Group of Knoxville, Tenn.; and Gish Sherwood & Friends in Nashville.

Thomas Media Group in Chattanooga, Tenn.; Carol H. Williams Advertising in Oakland, Calif.; DiamondJaxx in Jackson, Tenn.; and Stagepost Creative Marketing & Communications in Nashville were eliminated from the competition.

A decision is expected Monday, according to sources. Lottery officials could not be reached for comment.
