Temerlin McClain in Irving, Texas, has launched a new subsidiary called Socket to pursue smaller budget creative opportunities.
Temerlin associate creative directors Jim Weber and Kim Brayton are partners in the venture, along with Michael Boone, a former vice president and management supervisor at The Maxfield Group in Irving. At Socket, Weber is president, Brayton creative director and Boone account director. The three will not initially have an equity stake.
“Part of our mandate from [Temerlin McClain] president Dennis McClain is to go out and win awards,” Weber said, adding, “Part of our charter is to push creative as far as we can.
