DALLAS Mark Denesuk is leaving Interpublic Group's Temerlin McClain for a position with sibling McCann-Erickson, sources said.
Denesuk, who is currently chief operating officer of the Irving, Texas-based shop, is expected to lead a new account group for existing clients at McCann's New York office, sources said.
Denesuk joined Temerlin in 2001 as part of the shop's merger with McCann Southwest, where he served as general manager.
He managed the agency with president David Lyon and CEO Dennis McClain. Denesuk is the second top executive to leave the shop in two months; former executive creative director Eric McClellan was let go last month.
Temerlin executives could not immediately be reached for comment.
