DALLAS Bates Southwest Advertising & Public Relations has picked up the media business and other advertising duties for the $3 million account of Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits’ Houston region, the shop said.

The Houston office won the business managed by Popeyes’ corporate office and the Houston franchise board in a strategic review that included incumbent Temerlin McClain of Irving, Texas, and two undisclosed agencies, Bates said.

Search firm Agency I.D. of Atlanta managed the review for Popeyes, also of Atlanta.
