Temerlin to Downsize

Temerlin McClain is planning a significant number of staff layoffs as part of an effort to restructure in the face of mounting account losses, sources said.

As many as 100 employees, or nearly 20 percent of the agency’s workforce of 553, could be affected.

Executives at the Irving, Texas-based shop declined comment, but they hinted that more than personnel layoffs may occur. An agency source stated that a major an-nouncement regarding the True North shop’s integration into the Interpublic Group network is expected in a week to 10 days.
