Teligent, a wireless telecommunications company, is looking for an agency to handle its new $5-10 million ad account.
Robert Stewart, vice president of corporate communications for Vienna, Va.-based Teligent, confirmed the search but would not disclose billings.
Stewart said Teligent is looking for an agency within “reasonable striking distance” of its headquarters. He added that the company has not yet determined if creative and media chores will be handled by a single agency or divided.
Approximately 20-30 East Coast agencies were recently contacted via the Advertising Agency Register.
