TBWA Adds Nissan in China

LOS ANGELES The Shanghai office of Omnicom Group's TBWA Worldwide, with joint-venture Japanese partner shop Hakuhodo, has won the Nissan business in China following a review, sources said.

The account is worth more than $30 million, according to sources.

With the win, TBWA now handles the estimated $1.5 billion global advertiser's account in almost every market in the world, with the exception of a handful in Latin America and Asia.

TBWA\C\D in Playa del Rey, Calif., handles Nissan's $800 million U.S. account.

The agency declined comment. Nissan executives could not immediately be reached.
