Aventis Pharma has assigned consumer advertising duties for its Nasacort nasal spray to Euro RSCG McConnaughy Tatham here, a company representative said.
Spending is pegged by sources at $30 million. The Bridgewater, N.J., pharmaceuticals marketer spent $8 million on the brand from March to May, according to CMR.
Professional advertising for Nasacort was assigned to Lally McFarland & Panello Euro RSCG in New York, a sibling of Tatham's that specializes in healthcare. Tatham has worked with LM&P previously on healthcare business.
Nasacort was previously handled by Robert A. Becker in New York.
Aventis also markets Allegra, a $50 million brand handled by McCann-Erickson.
