NEW YORK Anticipating a September launch, TargetSpot, an online system for creating, buying and placing advertising within streaming media, on Tuesday made three executive appointments.
Andrew Eisele was named chief operating and financial officer. He joins TargetSpot from Associated Content, where he served as senior director of business development. He reports to Doug Perlson, CEO and co-founder of TargetSpot, who worked with Eisele at About.com.
Mike Dudas, a former manager of strategy and business development at Kaplan Inc., was named director of business development.
John deCastro, most recently account manager for Greater Media's New Jersey stations, will serve as director of sales.
Two of the top five radio groups, representing 230 radio stations, have committed to using TargetSpot's advertising platform, including CBS Radio, an investor and co-developer of the system, and Entercom Communications.
