The New York shop launched a pro bono print campaign that has already irritated the New York Police Department. Showing 41 bullet holes sprinkled with the words, “You have the right to remain silent,” the copy declares that “the NYPD gave Amadou Diallo the right to remain silent. And they did it without ever saying a word.”
Police officials were quoted in the New York Post recently, calling the ad “irresponsible and unethical.”
