SAN FRANCISCO It seems like everything is getting a makeover these days, from people to houses and now, tacos.

Taco Bell has made over one of its chicken tacos. In two 30-second TV spots from Interpublic Group's Foote Cone & Belding, San Francisco, that begin airing Sunday and will play nationwide through June 27, the restaurant chain promotes its new Ranchero Chicken Soft Taco.

"Floored" shows two people getting knocked off a park bench after they take a bite of the new taco. Later, a man bursts off his lawnmower once he experiences the same taste. The second spot, "Re-Floored," opens with the lawnmower scene. The rider takes a bite of the Ranchero Chicken Soft Taco and lands on his back as the mower continues on without him.

"Think outside the bun" remains the tagline. Campaign spending was not disclosed.

The menu addition combines grilled, all-white meat chicken marinated in Mexican herbs, chilies and spices, topped with fiesta salsa and avocado ranch sauce.

Taco Bell, based in Irvine, Calif., is a subsidiary of Yum! Brands. The chain operates nearly 6,500 restaurants in the U.S.
