Bezos/Nathanson Marketing Group has landed the estimated $3 million joint advertising account for Swissair and Belgian carrier Sabena after a review that began with 16 other, undisclosed, New York shops.

Barbara Jacobsen, director of marketing communications for the airlines, said the decision was based on the agency’s strong integrated marketing presentation, online advertising, promotional ideas, and events and partnership ideas.

“Their passion for the opportunity and the work was contagious,” she said.

Swissair and Sabena are partners in the AAdvantage, Midwest Express Airlines and US Airways Dividend Miles frequent flyer programs.
