BOSTON-Mullen last week was awarded the creative portion of Swiss Army Brands advertising account, the client announced last week.
The Wenham, Mass.-based agency was awarded the estimated $2-3 million business after a review that included Lyons Marketing Communications in Wilmington, Del., and Mad Dogs & Englishmen in New York.
“It was a difficult decision. All the agencies were excellent, but Mullen has a strategic strength and I think that’s ultimately what it came down to,” said Marcella George, marketing manager for Swiss Army Brands.
Although Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos created a launch campaign for Swiss Army sunglasses earlier this year, the Boston shop was not invited to participate in the review.
The agency search was prompted by growing confusion surrounding the Swiss Army brand.
