Vice President Resigns From Holland Mark
BOSTON–Holland Mark Martin Edmund is re-evaluating its commitment to account planning in the wake of the departure of Tina Sutton, who has resigned from the agency after less than a year on the job.
A former trend and fashion consultant to the retail industry, Sutton joined the Boston shop in March as vice president of planning and research. The appointment marked the first time the midsized agency had embraced account planning.
Sutton worked primarily on new business initiatives but also helped with “research assignments” for such clients as Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism, said agency chairman Bill Davis.
“I missed being in business for myself,” Sutton said last week of her decision to resign from Holland Mark and restart Tina Sutton Fashion Services, a marketing firm in Brookline, Mass.
