Creating pro bono advertising can take cooperation, patience and, in the case of dGWB’s new print campaign for the Surfrider Foundation, sure footing.
Production for one ad by the Irvine, Calif.-based shop for the nonprofit beach-cleanup organization required a shot of a surfer in action.
Agency partner and creative director Felipe Bascope volunteered for the part.
Bascope was fine, but the waves proved to be too much for one of the photographers, who was almost swept out to sea.
