BOSTON — Shaw’s Supermarkets has invited six agencies to compete for its estimated $3-5 million ad account.

Scheduled to make capabilities presentations in coming weeks are Clarke Goward, Connelly Partners/CGN and Cronin/Wallwork Curry, all in Boston; Duffy & Shanley, Providence, R.I.; and New York agencies Bouchez Kent & Co. and Gotham, according to Pile and Co., the consulting company overseeing the search.

Incumbent Allen & Gerritsen, Watertown, Mass., has an automatic berth in the final round and will not present capabilities.
