While most agencies are scrambling to finish up their Super Bowl spots, CP+B had BK’s “America’s Favorites” shot by the end of August and nearly finished by November.

The idea came in June during a routine brainstorming session, when one creative had the idea of leveraging the brand equity of the ’70s “Have it Your Way” jingle by creating a musical number around it. Shot over five days in Brazil, the concept was initially considered for a cinema spot, but when BK bought Super Bowl time (the first time in 11 years), “America’s Favorites” seemed the right fit, says creative director Rob Reilly.
