Sudler & Hennessey Buys HealthAnswers

NEW YORK WPP Group subsidiary Sudler & Hennessey, a global healthcare marketing organization, has acquired HealthAnswers Education, which specializes in sales training and medical education programs for the pharmaceutical industry.

HealthAnswers Education primarily works with research-based pharmaceutical and biotech companies to build the skills of sales forces.

"They offer our network another strong provider of top-quality physician education programs and also bring a significant new discipline into our network in the U.S. for sales force education and skills training," said Jed Beitler, worldwide CEO of Sudler & Hennessey, in announcing the deal to buy the Pennsylvania-based company. Mark Samuel remains president of HealthAnswers.

Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

S&H is a New York-based agency that focuses on healthcare advertising.
