The GFS/Levinson Group has built a repertoire of unusual ads for its various clients. For Tri-State Consumer Insurance, a recent TV spot showed a vintage black-and-white movie clip of a man screaming and tearing his hair out–alluding to what happens when drivers face expensive insurance. Another recent spot for Dallek office furniture showed a man sawing a desk in half to promote their yearly half-price sale.
No such antics were required for Einstein Moomjy, a high-end carpet retailer who nonetheless enjoyed a small dose of the New York agency’s humor.
