Stuff Magazine, a men's lifestyle monthly owned by Dennis Publishing, launched on Tuesday a new, fully Flash-based daily Web site redesigned by New York-based Dennis Interactive. Featuring "cutting-edge news and entertainment," the site mixes original content with archived material from the print magazine. Additionally, to drive repeat traffic, stuffmagazine.com also offers polls, product reviews, contests and prizes.
Stuffmagazine.com uses DI's new Flash Publishing System, which allows editors to change pictures and text within a Web-based program. The site also offers numerous advertising features such as a bouncing left-hand column on every page, full dynamic screens and strolling animated characters who can be enlisted to talk about various products. Advertisers who have already appeared on the site include Bacardi, ESPN X Games and USA Films.
