StrawberryFrog Engages Bryant for Planning

NEW YORK StrawberryFrog has hired Ilana Bryant, formerly one of three group planning directors at BBH, as head of planning in its New York office beginning today. It is a new position.

Bryant, 36, will manage three account planners, about the same number of staffers she managed at BBH in New York. She will be responsible for planning on the independent agency's U.S. based clients. Richard Monturo, who will now focus his efforts primarily on the Heineken account, previously handled those duties.

The New York office of StrawberryFrog handles accounts including Bank of Montreal and Mega Blocks.

At BBH, Bryant worked on the Levi's account, as well as new business efforts, said David Terry, the office's director of planning. James Fox, 31, a former Fallon planning director who joined the Publicis Groupe-backed agency in December, has absorbed her duties, Terry said. Fox, a group planning director at BBH, also works on British Airways and Gold Toe socks.

Prior to BBH, Bryant worked at Ascension and HHCL, both in London, where she lived for 15 years before returning to the U.S.
