Peter Stranger, managing partner of Bozell Worldwide’s Costa Mesa, Calif, office, has resigned from the agency, sources said last week.
Stranger left the shop of his own volition, prompted in part by the loss earlier this year of the creative portion of Bozell’s Taco Bell account, which he oversaw, sources said. Since the loss, Stranger has worked on the agency’s Great Western Bank business, in addition to other accounts. His departure coincides with the announcement last week of True North Communications’ acquisition of Bozell Worldwide.
Stranger told executives of his plans to leave the agency last week, and then departed for a three-week vacation, said sources.
