S.F. shuffle
After a major downsizing move there, TBWA\Chiat\Day is close to finalizing the senior creative staff at its San Francisco office. Sources say plans call for Chuck McBride to take a de facto president’s role at the shop, and be joined by three creative directors.

Movie Madness
Butler, Shine & Stern has added two movie-related accounts to its roster that are expected to add a combined $10 million in billings. The shop will design campaigns for cable network American Movie Classics and for Discreet Software, which creates special effects.
