BOSTON StandPoint PR has opened its doors in Southborough, Mass., helmed by Jim McNulty, who has 20 years of experience in the local communica-
tions and marketing scene.
The shop launches with projects from TechFoundation in Cambridge, Mass., which helps nonprofits gain access to technology resources, and Prospectiv Direct in Woburn. Mass.
StandPoint also works for e-Dialog of Lexington, Mass., a provider of e-mail marketing solutions, where McNulty served as head of public relations before leaving to freelance two years ago.
McNulty believes his new venture can succeed because, "A growing number of organizations are saying they notice competitors beginning to emerge from a long public absence and are wondering if it's time to finally loosen up the budget so as not to lose mindshare."
