Southwest Business Pools Its Branding At Parker & Wood

Southwest Business Corp., a privately held financial services company, has engaged Parker & Wood to handle its account, estimated at under $1 million.

"In the 25-year history of the company, this is the first time we have chosen to consolidate our marketing, advertising and public relations with a single firm," said Charlie Amato, chairman of San Antonio-based SWBC.

Skip Wood, president and chief executive officer of Parker & Wood in San Antonio, said the consolidation was made in the absence of a review.

"They've been trying to get their arms around a growing stable of diversified products and decided they needed help with the company brand and individual product brands," Wood said.
