SAN FRANCISCO – As part of its drive to embed its brand deep in American consumers’ minds, Sony this week unveils its flagship entertainment complex in San Francisco. The $85 million futuristic project is dubbed “Metreon.”
Sony hopes the four-story center will reinforce the Sony brand the way the Disney World theme park polishes the Disney name, said insiders.
While the complex is cutting edge and technology-oriented, the ad campaign promoting it is quite the opposite.
