SMG Repeats as AWRT's Agency of the Year

DALLAS Southwest Media Group has been named agency of the year for the second year in a row by the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of American Women in Radio and Television, the shop said.

SMG's Caroline Crocker also won the award for top local media buyer, the agency said.

AWRT is a nonprofit organization serving women in broadcasting and related professions. The DFW chapter has been awarding agency-of-the-year honors for 21 years.

SMG provides strategic planning and buying across all media. In its tenth year, the independent Dallas agency will place $150 million in media for clients including Dillard's Department Stores, RH Donnelley Yellow Pages, Whataburger, Service Corporation International and Joe's Crab Shack, the shop said.
