Marine life, by its very nature, is not particularly funny. But Fotouhi Alonso Associates posits a humorous side to the underwater world in a print campaign for the newly opened Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific.
One print ad (shown here) offers the aquarium’s six-foot-wide Giant Japanese Spider Crab as “proof you can be popular even with an ugly face, skinny legs and no personality.” Another invites readers to visit the institution’s sex-changing fish.
The Los Angeles shop won print duties on the account several months ago.
