Most dentists say that flossing is important to maintain healthy teeth.A new TV spot from FCB Worldwide in San Francisco is aimed at those who say that advice is just lip service.

The spot for Waterpik’s Flosser productfeatures two hand drawn characters on real chins.

The two characters go on a date and end up in a park. It’s there the woman notices her date has some food caught in his teeth.

The duo recoils when a menacing-looking piece of floss creeps out from behind a newspaper, but rejoices when it gets the job done.

“It wasn’t easy finding a set of teeth that looked good upside down and could act,” said Mike Towell, the copywriter.
