LOS ANGELES Omnicom Group’s TBWA in Germany has won a global assignment for Siemens Mobile Phone division, the client confirmed.

A Siemens representative said the review included Interpublic Group-backed Springer & Jacoby, but other contenders were undisclosed.

The agency plans to launch its first work by April. Billings are undisclosed.

A rep for TBWA said the agency abroad had been handling assignments for individual phones as a roster shop, along with Interpublic Group’s McCann Erickson and Publicis Groupe’s Publicis, but that the win consolidates all the cell phone business under the TBWA banner.
