Siemens Information & Communications has designated matthews/mark the local agency to promote its cordless and wireless phones.

“It’s a major global brand that represents the kind of growth we’re looking for,” said agency chairman and chief executive officer Jim Matthews. While the media budget has not been finalized, Matthews described the potential for growth as “enormous.”

Siemens is said to be spending $500 million through several agencies to promote its cellular phones, including Wieden + Kennedy in Amsterdam for global branding and J.
