NEW YORK Showtime is once again turning to the Web to promote several of its premium shows, and ultimately to draw new subscribers.

The premium cable net has partnered with Yahoo to stream select full-length episodes from several of its top series from Oct. 6 to Oct. 13, including Weeds, Sleeper Cell, Brotherhood and The L Word, as well as several new series.

Previously, Showtime streamed the first episode of Weeds’ second season on MSN this past summer, as well as the defunct Kirstie Alley series Fat Actress on Yahoo in 2005.
