DALLAS The Support Group, everitt.company and Humphries Marketing Group are three agencies that have recently opened in the Southwest.
Based in Tulsa, Okla., The Support Group is an ad design company composed of five senior freelancers: designers Jon Hibblen and Marolyn Locke, writers Neil Scanlan and Matt O'Meilia and Web designer Jeff Barnes.
As full-time freelancers, the partners will continue to work for themselves, but will also do projects under The Support Group banner, Scanlan said.
Mark Bowlin recently launched the everitt.company, a graphic design firm specializing in video production and Web development. Based in Richardson, Texas, Bowlin has begun work with clients in the travel, engineering, real estate, education and religious sectors. Bowlin was most recently an associate account executive at Gallier and Wittenberg in Dallas.
Steven Humphries has formed Dallas-based HMG, which will partner with the Hispanic shop he opened in late 2001, Casa Creativa. Humphries has established HMG to handle many of the general-market needs that have arisen from his Casa Creativa clients, which are mostly car dealers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Humphries said he hopes the addition of general-market capabilities will help broaden his clientele.
