CHICAGO Russell & Herder said it has acquired two new accounts: Shooting Star Casino and Savvi Formalwear.

For Shooting Star, the Minneapolis agency will handle advertising, public relations and other marketing services for the Mahnomen, Minn., company, which is owned by the White Earth Band of Ojibwe Indians.

Formerly Gingiss Formalwear, Savvi contracted the independent shop to help expand its retail outlets and wholesale business in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and the Dakotas.

“Russel & Herder demonstrated a strong retail background and knowledge of our industry,” said Savvi president Mark Morrow in a statement.
