Four agencies have made final presentations in the review for Sewell Automotive's$5-10 million account, sources said.
The contenders are Launch Partnership, Irving, Texas; and Levenson & Hill, The Richards Group and Square One, all in Dallas.
The agencies wrapped up their presentations to Sewell last week, and a decision could come as early as this week, sources said.
Calls to the Dallas-based client were not returned. Sewell Automotive operates 17 car dealerships in Dallas, New Orleans, San Antonio and Fort Worth, Texas.
The account includes both creative and media buying. Primary duties will involve the client's Sewell Cadillac dealerships, although up to three other car brands may be included in the work, sources said.
A Sewell Automotive representative in January confirmed the company had initially sent out requests for information to 10 local advertising agencies.
Sewell has not had a formal agency relationship in almost three years since splitting with the former Berry-Brown.
The client is said to be looking to support a more ambitious television campaign, after working with several creatives on a project basis.
