Looking to produce public service spots for the price of some danish and coffee?
The Boston chapter
of the International Television Association (ITVA) is seeking proposals for public service spots budgeted at $30,000-50,000.
Last year, the group produced 30-second spots for the New England Home for
Little Wanderers and the Massachusetts Council on Compulsive Gambling, which worked on its commercial with Pontes/Buckley Advertising in Boston.
The ITVA is looking to consider about a half-dozen proposals and will produce at least two commercials by the spring, said organization official Debra Wilbur.
Comprising some 500 producers, directors, editors, actors and other creative professionals, the local chapter of the ITVA will book the talent, provide the crew and pick up all reasonable costs, except media placement–it’s up to stations to decide when and if the spots will run.
