At the 12-person agency of Blanchard Schaefer Advertising & Public Relations, all the principals and one account supervisor have twins.
"At first we used to tell people you had to have twins in order to be a partner in our firm. It really cut down on the requests by employees to be made partner," joked Ken Schaefer, a principal in the Arlington, Texas, agency.
"One of our new team members, Susan Powell, brings another set of twins to the agency. We're considering franchising the concept of an ad agency combined with a day care," Schaefer said.
Said agency principal Bobby Blanchard, "We've got some people in the office that refuse to drink the water. They're afraid this twin thing might be contagious."
Schaefer's twins are 18 months old, Powell's are 4 and Blanchard's are almost 8.
The client roster of 12-year-old Blanchard Schaefer includes PageNet, Snelling Personnel Services and Texas Health Choice.
