The ubiquitous Absolut Vodka campaign, created by TBWA before its coupling with Chiat/Day, has been extended in the form of an art collection called “Absolut Expressions: Through Strokes, Stitches and Shapes.”
Fourteen African American artists were commissioned to render original works, capturing such themes as the joy of music, romance and good times, all interpreted through the Absolut bottle icon (sculptor Chester Williams’ work is shown here).
The participating artists brought eclectic influences to the project, including African and Caribbean cultural traditions.
