MGH Advertising has won the ad account of Ocean City.

The Baltimore shop defeated a group of finalists that included incumbent Carton Donofrio Partners, Eisner Communications, Chess, GKV and Siquis, all in Baltimore, and The Stern Agency in Columbia, Md., in a review to capture the estimated $1.5 million account.

Earle Palmer Brown of Bethesda, Md., withdrew in an earlier round of the re-view that originally drew responses from more than 40 agencies, some from as far away as Mississippi.

“This is Maryland’s beach re-sort,” said MGH president Andy Malis.
