Via has won creative chores on Analog Devices’ $5-10 million ad account.

The independent shop in Portland, Maine, bested Allen & Gerritsen, Watertown, Mass.; Partners & Si-mons, Boston; and incumbent Stringer, Burlington, Mass., in a review.

“They demonstrated a good understanding of what motivates our target audience and a genuine interest in what we’re doing in the long term,” said Joe Laskowski, director of corporate marketing at the Norwood, Mass., computer technology company. Laskowski also cited Via’s extensive experience in the high-tech sector as a factor in its selection.

Stringer will continue to handle advertising chores for Analog’s integrated circuits business.
