The Star Group, a marketing communications company in Cherry Hill, N.J., has hired Cathy Schwartz, 56, as director of corporate communications. Her duties will include supervising and executing the firm’s internal and external communications programs. Before joining The Star Group, Schwartz was director of communications at the Cherry Hill Township Office of the Mayor and was chief of staff for former Cherry Hill Mayor Susan Bass Levin.
