LOS ANGELES–Investment brokerage house Charles Schwab has invited 12 agencies to get-acquainted meetings as it searches for a shop to handle $10 million in advertising for its electronic trading unit.





The invited agencies include BBDO West, Campbell-Ewald, Grey Advertising, Dailey & Associates, and Mendelsohn/Zien, all in Los Angeles; Winkler and Blazing Paradigm, both in San Francisco; Cliff Freeman & Partners, Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners, Lowe & Partners/SMS and Partners & Shevack, all in New York; as well as EvansGroup in Seattle, according to Mike Marsak, a consultant.
